Understanding and using A-MQ 6.1 and client APIs

This week I am doing a webinar on JBoss A-MQ 6.1 around client APIs.  More info and registration at http://www.redhat.com/about/events-webinars/webinars/20140423_understanding-and-using-a-mq61-and-client-apis.

Understanding and using A-MQ 6.1 and client APIs

In a fast-paced world, you need a messaging platform that makes it easy and safe for enterprise applications to exchange information. Red Hat® JBoss® A-MQ is a high performance, flexible, cost-effective messaging platform that delivers information safely and reliably with a small footprint.
Red Hat JBoss A-MQ clients can connect to a broker using a variety of transports and APIs. The connections are highly configurable and can be tuned for the majority of use cases. Multi-protocol support (JMS 1.1, TCP, SSL, STOMP, NMS) and multi-client support (Java, C, C++) enables real-time messaging with all enterprise assets.

Join this webinar to explore:
  • An introduction to JBoss A-MQ 6.1.
  • An introduction to JBoss client APIs.
  • A demo using the different client APIs, including the Qpid JMS client API.
  • JBoss A-MQ use cases with clients that include AMQP JMS, C++, .NET, and REST.

Sparc Hackathon 4

Yaaaarrrrrr: Hackathon 4 is Coming!

hackathon-square Hackathon 4: The Pirates of Silicon Harbor is set to arrive here in Charleston at SPARC HQ on August 23 and 24, and promises to be the biggest coding ballyhoo the Lowcountry has ever seen.
SPARC’s annual coding competition will have a new and improved two-day format aimed at maximizing both the developers time to code and potential hijinks. This year’s event will see teams develop, build, and deploy apps on Saturday, August 23, then return on Sunday for presentations, judging, and awards – assuming they survive the after party the night before.

Registration will be open in a few weeks, so visit hackathon.sparcedge.com to signup for updates so you’ll be the first to know (team spots filled up fast last year!). We’re looking for participants, exhibitors, spectators, volunteers, and sponsors before we set sail, so join us on this coding adventure or be forced to walk the plank!
